CJBMX has moved to new dig's online.  This content will remain, but news, directions, information, sponsors, riders, results,  all that stuff can be best reached at  cjbmx.org

New riders are welcome.  FIrst events are free.  Athletes must have long sleeves, pants and a bicycle to ride at race BMX bicycles.   Central Jersey's volunteers can provide you with a helmet for use at the track.  Every bicycle we see revieves a safety inspection before going onto the track.  CJBMX is at Top 10 NBL organization in recruiting and retention of athletes.

There will be a new rider clinic before racing starts.  CJBMX will have hosts to help familes new to the community negotiate the grounds and navigate the track.

Two, and in some cases three generations of athletes have competed, learned self confidence, self reliance, and built countless friendships on the groomed soil and banked turns in Howell, NJ.  The current rider who brings the most riding guests gets a T-shirt this Sunday.

Sponsorship packages are still available.  For $150 our partners get a beautiful 4x6 banner. This banner will be displayed from March to December at 40 races and about 100 pactices, weather permitting. Sponsors can also provide approved materials for distribution to our athletes, families and guests.  We have more than 20 so far, so do not miss this opportunity.

Response has been good for the CJBMX Bargain.   CJBMX is offering a season of regular local racing and practices for $150.  Email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it for your pass.

Ready for the Ironman

We have set a date for the Ironman.   December 13, 2009 will be the big event.  We will open the track at 9:30a rain, shine or snow.  The is a chance for all of us to laugh at the weather, and get some shopping and decorating done while the rest of the family races.

IronMan 2009 will have some fantastic giveaways.  We will be racing class and all age and proficiency pit bike.

It is time to laugh at the cold, replace your Gatorade with hot chocolate and earn the best rewards of the year.   This race will feature a 16 and over money open in addition to a full slate of regular races.  Racing is $25 and we will require registration by or at the State Banquet on December 7, 2009.   Here is the registration form.

October 2009

Trevor 2016 West is the October Rider of the Month.   Trevor earned novice class in Shoreham at the Regional Championship.  Smooth is the first to arrive and last to leave the track on practice and race days.   What sealed the deal for rider of the month honors for Trevor is his attitude toward his bike.  Trevor believes, if your equipment isn't broken you should be riding it.  Trevor is a better student than driver and believes he has a spot on the 2016 Olympic Team.

Give Back to the Riders

1st year pro, Dan Smith approached CJBMX a few weeks ago about giving back to the community at the track.  On November 8 he came through in a big way.  CJ has a tradition of letting athletes ride until they want to leave after Sunday races.  Danny took this time and passed alond 16 years of hard found knowledge to the riders who would listen.

Dan is a Sophmore in College studying Physical Education, and that is what he did.  Mike Schneider, one of our fast 16 year old and Danny donated their time and knowledge to the other athletes at CJBMX.  MIke and Danny provided instruction on gating, and getting around the track quickly and safely.  The group taking instruction ranged in age from 5 to around 40 and by all accounts and images, everyone got something out of the instruction.  Check for your pictures in the photo album.

NJBMX Banquet

Dave & Busters is at 325 North Columbus Blvd in Philadelphia. The Banquet is December 6 form 11a to 2p.  Donna Transue has all the details, reach her at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it   Send your checks to 15 Red Hill Rd.Pipersville, PA 18947.

September 2009

Matthew Moore is the September Rider of the Month.  Matthew has been working hard in 16 Rookie class and started getting great results in September.  Bringing a great attitude and some love of riding every time we open Matthew is additive to the environment at the track.  Matthew rode at the Grands despite not being qualified for a plate because, 'Riding is fun.'  That in conjunction with his willingness to pitch in makes Matt the back to school edition of Rider of the Month.
