The Race for Maddy




If I was ever asked what statements I would use to describe what a BMX family was I would have to say friendly, caring and there for one another. When word spreads of another rider’s misfortune or of their family’s misfortune everyone seems to rally together. No longer is it what motto am I in or who am I racing against but the question now becomes what can I do to help? There was a family in BMX in the Howell area a few years ago by the name of Webber. Tommy Webber and his family were big into BMX and even after he stopped racing ran the snack bar in Howell for quite a few years. Tommy got married and now has two beautiful girls. His youngest is only about 3 and a half months old. She was born with Craniosynstosis. It is a condition when the soft spot and skull does not form. Maddy, as they like to call her, is in need of our help. CJBMX is hosting a special Friday night race. The “Race for Maddy”. This race is going to be held on Friday night, June 6. Registration is from 5:45 till 6:30 PM, race at 7. $10.00 entry fee with all money collected going to the Webber family. Please come out and support this little girl as we race the “Race for Maddy”.

Just a reminder that Practice is Friday nights from 6:30 PM till 9 PM.  Sunday morning registration is from 9:30 AM till 11 AM.  Gate drops at noon.  There is no riding of the track on non race days.

Cantral Jersey BMX would like to "Thank" everyone involved in our East Coast National Event.  Without the voulunteers out there each week and during the weekend we could never have been so successful.
